NFCC Sailors compete in 2022 SARW
March 26th – April 2nd 2022
NFCC Sailors boarded the 26′ ZAIDA with Captain Chuck Fields for two days of Inshore Racing on the Tolomato River for the 2022 St Augustine Race Week. With blue skies above and warm winds behind, our NFCC Sailors successfully navigated the river course with tight racing between the banks from start to finish. Celebrations followed with three days of Parties, Live Music, Good Food & Rum.
2022 SARW capped off this year’s festivities with an Awards Ceremony at the St Augustine Yacht Club. Stories will be told!
Be sure to join us for our next exciting event.

Two Labor Day Offshore Races
September 3rd – 6th 2021
NFCC Sailors competed in the annual NFCC Offshore Herb Elphick & Tommy Hall Memorial Races. Finicky winds, rolling waves and hidden jettys were just a few of the challenges of this year’s Labor Day Offshore Races. Four days on the water, on the deck, at the Pub.
Keep in mind that “On the rocks” is much better said in the Pub than at the inlet!
NFCC Labor Day Offshore Race Results:

2nd – Caper / Petr Korous
3rd – Paloma / Georges Boyazis

Thanks also to the sailing families, our dedicated volunteers and all the wonderful spectators who joined in the celebration.
NFCC Members Race
in the Jacksonville Sailing Festival
With the downtown Jacksonville cityscape in the background and a perfect combination of Sun, Wind & Water, NFCC Members took to the St Johns River for an awesome day of racing in the April 10th Jacksonville Sailing Festival. Our Sailors enjoyed their day on the water with the wind in their hair and the love of sailing in their hearts as they sailed into the sun. Be sure to join us on our next NFCC adventure.

NFCC St. Patrick’s Day Celebration
at Monkey’s Uncle Tavern
NFCC’s “Green Team” celebrated one of our favorite holidays at one of our favorite pubs. There was even a reported sighting of a leprechaun behind the bar! Capt’ Robert said “It must be time for another round of green beer.” Bar tenders and maids kept the party going and our mugs full. A great time was had by all, at least as good as can be had on land.

2021 NFCC Exchange Isle Cruise & Clean-up
Saturday, January 16th
NFCC’s first event of the year was a cruise to the mysterious, exotic and rustic Exchange Island, a unique Jacksonville city park right in the middle of the St. Johns River under the Matthews Bridge. Wearing protective clothing and armed with plastic garbage bags, a select team of NFCC volunteers sailed in for a day of exploration and trash pick-up. Kudos to our very own NFCC team of volunteers.
